Harrogate K.R. Ali Taekwondo Academy successfully hosted the 10th edition of the Harrogate Mayor Cup Poomsae Championships, held at Ashville Sports Centre on March 28th, welcoming approximately 300 competitors from across the UK and overseas.
Our Academy was delighted to receive a £500 grant through Harrogate Council’s new grant scheme. The funding supported the Competition Organising Committee by contributing towards the purchase of medals for all competitors taking part in the event. The grant helped enhance the overall experience for competitors and their families, reinforcing the event’s welcoming and community-focused atmosphere.
Our Academy is very grateful to Harrogate Council for its support. The grant made a meaningful contribution to the success of the 10th Harrogate Mayor Cup Poomsae Championships and helped ensure the event continued to provide a high-quality experience for all those involved.
