Michael has over 20 years experience as a councillor, at Parish, Borough and County level. As well as being a Harrogate Town Councilor he represents Killinghall, Hampsthwaite & Saltergate on North Yorkshire Council, where is a member of the ruling executive, responsible for Health & Adult Services.
Away from council duties he works in the banking industry. He has lived in Harrogate for over 30 years.
