I have lived in Harrogate for more than 30 years and am co-founder and director of the popular childcare business, Funclubs Ltd, caring for over 500 Harrogate primary school children every day before and after school. Until 2019, I also founded and ran Funcare nurseries, providing fun and care for Harrogate’s littlest residents at Woodlands, PlayAway and Little Dragons nurseries. I have also worked as a marketing manager in the food industry for 12 years, both in the UK and in Germany.
I’m a passionate advocate for education, especially early years, I am governor at St. Aidan’s CE school and a volunteer at local charity HELP. I am also a very proud Yorkshire, British, European, having spent much of my childhood living in other European countries before making Harrogate my home.
